To mount a motor shaft grounding module, it’s important to do it cost-effectively and quickly, while ensuring it looks good and lasts for years.

However, many motor endbells have challenging geometry, making it difficult to install the module. In some cases, installation can take over an hour and often looks ‘home made’.

We listened to our customers and worked with our engineering group to create a line of spacer plates and extension plates, along with tools to assist installers with proper hole placement.  Despite these additions, it was still difficult to mount a MSGM on some configurations.

That’s why we created the Aaki Corp line of FleXmount™ brackets, designed to allow a motor repair shop to mount our Motor Shaft Grounding Modules on Any motor

The process is simple:

  1. Choose the closest FleXmount™ configuration to suit your motor shape.
  2. Using our Flexform™ (patent pending) bending tool, bend the FleXmount™ bracket arms to perfectly and professionally conform to your motor geometry.
  3. Bolt the bracket to your motor (in some cases it can be bolted to the motor using existing endbell mounting bolts).
  4. Screw on your preferred Aaki Motor Shaft Grounding Module (Standard or Mini).

The FleXmount™ is designed to be extremely sturdy, ensuring maximum durability and reliability. The brackets are very rigid once mounted and look professional. In some cases, the bracket will bolt directly to the motor’s endbell mounting bolts, eliminating the need for drilling holes.

The result is a professional looking installation that is quick, repeatable, and can be done with simple hand tools.
