Installation:
- When installing a Motor Shaft Grounding Module (MSGM) onto the face of a Motor, the area near the Motor Shaft is not always compliant. In some installations, the mounting holes for the MSGM need to be located away from the shaft.
- The Extension Plate extends the radial length – distance from the Motor Shaft – by 50mm. It opens up options to move the MSGM mounting holes away from the curves or angles at the bearing area. Manufactured from mild steel and pre-tapped and slotted for easy installation, the Extension Plate is an easy-to-use and cost-effective solution when mounting a MSGM to protect electric motors from harmful shaft voltages.
- The slots allow up to 50mm of radial distance, and the thickness is 5mm. In this manner the Extension Plate can be used to get past a 5mm axial (along the Motor Shaft) obstacle such as a Shaft Collar, while also putting mounting holes into the Motor Endbell at an easier spot.
